Alessandro Carboni's research is a transversal questioning among the relations between the body and the city. An analysis of the particular aspects of the body and how it transforms with the changes and with the big urban planning. A molecular work, a spacial frame, that allow to rethink the urban space non only as something given but as a place for experience and production where the body, in its diverse specificity, becomes agent, the carrier of discussion and transformations. The result is the creation of a hybrid territory and transdisciplinary of experimentation in which the observation and the urban documentation are the key elements of a visual and performative interpretation. The meeting will be dedicated to the general presentation of research materials and the deepening of some paradigmatic cities of the southwestern Asia recently visited by Alessandro Carboni for developing the project Overlapping Discrete Boundaries.
